The second release of our Blackhouse Reserve has a supremely rich umami flavour and underlying peat character. Islay whisky barrels were filled with Imperial Blackhouse and left to mature for 30 months and then blended back with unaged Imperial Blackhouse.
The extra 12 months in barrel has rounded of some of the harsher smoke and medicinal notes. Savoury flavours and a woodsmoke aroma come to the fore and complement the roasted malts.

Hops: Pilgrim, Saaz
Adjuncts: Belgian Candi Syrup
